Ayotte joins in Memorial Day tributes to the fallen

TILTON — Led by both the Color and Honor Guards of the Whiteman-Davidson American Legion Post 49, veterans, scouting groups, police officers, and representatives of the Tilton-Northfield Fire and Rescue marched through downtown Tilton and Northfield on Monday to the patriotic music of the Winnisquam Regional High School Band and this year they were honored to have U.S. Sen. Remillard repeats as long jump state champ

JAFFREY Behind another outstanding performance from junior Jaila Remillard, the Winnisquam Regional High School girls' track and field team paced the local squads at the NHIAA Division III state championship on Saturday at Conant High School. Remillard scored points in three events, including her second consecutive state title in the long jump, as the Bears finished in sixth place as a team with 28 points. Monadnock ran away with another state title, scoring 157 points to easily distance the field. Fall Mountain (64.5), Bow (63.5), White Mountains (56) and Laconia (36) were the top five teams in the girls' event....more>
