Day's near no-hitter highlights Holderness baseball team's trip to Florida

VERO BEACH, Fla. — For the fourth year in a row, the Holderness baseball team stood decided to beat Mother Nature at her own game. The Bulls made the trip to Vero Beach, Fla. on Sunday, March 22, for a week of practice and games against teams from around the country. Coach Chris Day notes that when he took over the program four years ago, he was looking for a way to get his team out on the fields early. "I started to look around," Day said.
