Northern Pass earns key approval

REGION —The highly controversial Northern Pass project that seeks to run energy from Quebec into southern New England is one step closer to completion. Strong finish lifts Eagles past Yellow Jackets

GROVETON — The Groveton boys' soccer team played the last regular game of the season against the Yellow Jackets from Pittsburg/Canaan. The Eagles won easily 5-0, thanks in large part to a strong second half, which served to bump them up in the playoff standings. During the first half the young team from Pittsburg/Canaan played some impressive defense, holding the Eagles to 1-0 with 10 minutes left to go, when Daegan Lurvey put one up for Groveton. ...more>
