Beaulieu drains four threes in win for White Mountains

WHITEFIELD — On Jan. 10 the White Mountains girls' basketball team hosted Groveton for what turned out to be quite the game. Given the records of the two teams it seemed like this would be an easy win for the Spartans but the Eagles gave them a run for their money, ending the game with a close score of 46-40 with the team in white the victors. Spartan Autumn Anderson had the fans cheering right off the bat when she sunk a three-point shot with 6:37 on the clock. Lexi Welch added two more to give the Spartans an early 5-0 lead. Eagle high scorer Kiana Martin added one at the foul line with four minutes to go in the quarter. Groveton saw a chance right under the net and added two more. ...more>
