St. Hilaire, Bouchard named Valedictory, Salutatory speakers

BERLIN — Berlin High School has announced that the class of 2011 Valedictorian is Kyle St. Hilaire. Natalie Bouchard is the class Salutatorian.

Kyle is a member of the National Honor Society and served as the group's secretary. He has been active in Student Council, Drama Club, Peer Tutoring, and Prom Committee. Kyle also participated in the North Country Youth to Youth program, where he volunteered eight hours a week, promoting higher education.

Kyle said that in his free time he has enjoyed working at Story Land for four years, and also likes reading, writing and drawing as well as "the arts." He plans to pursue a degree in Chemistry at Furman University in Greenville, S.C. in order to have a career as a pharmacist.

Kyle is the son of Paul and Shannon St. Hilaire.

Natalie plans to pursue a degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of New England in Biddeford, Me. She is a varsity athlete, having competed on the field hockey team for four years and the softball team for three years.

Natalie is a member of the National Honor Society and FCCLA-ECE (early childhood) and also volunteered with the North Country Youth to Youth as a college advocate. She is an avid snowboarder and plans to attend the Granite Girls' State over the summer.

Natalie is the daughter of Mark and Leah Bouchard.
