Bobbie Miller murder investigation continues
December 09, 2010
WOLFEBORO — The murder of long time Wolfeboro resident Bobbie Miller, 54, discovered on Nov. 1 at her home in Gilford, remains under investigation by the Major Crimes unit of the New Hampshire State Police. Miller died of multiple gun shot wounds. Her golden lab, "Sport," also died of multiple gun shot wounds. So far there has been no arrest.
As police await toxicology reports from a national laboratory to narrow the time of death, Attorney Ben Agati of the New Hampshire Department of Justice's Criminal Division, who is in charge of the case, says, "No lead is too small," in the search for details of Miller's whereabouts between Friday evening, Oct. 29, and Monday morning, Nov. 1.
"Even if you think someone might have already reported it," said Agati, the police will welcome a call. "Nothing is too trivial." Even a momentary sighting of Miller in her car somewhere is worth noting as are e-mail or phone communications in the days before her death.
Agati says that police have talked to around 100 different people in an attempt to solidify a time line. "The more information the better," he reiterated.
He said that he is aware that Miller's ex husband Gary Miller's three season lakeside home in Acton, Maine burned down the evening of Friday, Oct. 29, but police have not established a clear connection between that event and her murder.
