Kennett athletes honored for solid season

NORTH CONWAY — The Kennett community came together on Wednesday, Nov. 17, to celebrate the conclusion of the fall sports season, a season that saw the Eagles come away with another state championship and numerous successes on the fields.
Mountain biking coach Chris Darling presented his team's awards to Byron Gill and Kyle DiGregorio.
Golf coach Joe Soraghan honored the team's lone senior, Tyler Butler with the award for the golf team.
Tasha Jost and Paige Mahoney were announced as the winners of the volleyball award from coach Jocelyn Judge.
Coach Bernie Livingston handed out two cross country awards, with Dalton L'Heureux taking the honors for the boys and Hannah Wright taking the honors for the girls.
First-year football coach Mike Holderman awarded the Sam Fuller Award to senior Matt Gadomski.
Fellow first-year coach CJ Lang, who guided her field hockey team to the Division II state championship, gave the Deryl Fleming Award to Faye Roberts and Amber McPherson.
The John Marsden Award, also presented for field hockey, was given to Sam Meader and Kelsea Allen.
Mike Jenne, the first-year coach of the boys' soccer team, gave his squad's award to Beto Alves.
Jess Sherman, in her first year at the helm of the girls' varsity soccer team, presented the Suzy Engler Award to Taylor Gardella.
