WHITEFIELD — One new specialty store has been added to the N. H. Grand list of "certified" businesses, which now totals 26.

The addition of SaVoir Flare of 52 Main Street in Berlin was announced by NH Grand manager Samantha Maltais at Thursday's at lunch at the first Northern New Hampshire Tourism Conference, held at the Mountain View Grand.

The Arts & Culture list includes: William Rugh Art Gallery in Lancaster; Weathervane Theater in Whitefield; the AMC Highland Center in Bretton Woods; and St. Kieran's Center for the Arts in Berlin.

The Old Mill Studio in Whitefield is no longer on the list. The gallery has downsized to make room for more space for a larger quilt materials shop — The Stitch at the Old Mill. The smaller art gallery was renamed The Gallery at the Old Mill and The Classroom at the Old Mill, which offers a variety of classes in several media remains, explained Sue Gradual in a Friday telephone interview. Retail stores include Simon the Tanner and Fuller's Sugarhouse in Lancaster; Potato Barn Antiques in Groveton; Fiddleheads and Creative Natives, both in Colebrook; Scoggins General Store in Gorham; Greetings Jewelers in Berlin; Local Works Marketplace and the Gallery at WREN in Bethlehem; Chutters and League of N. H. Craftsmen, both in Littleton. Restaurants on the list include: Mountain View Grand; the Omni Mount Washington in Bretton Woods; the Waterwheel in Jefferson; White Mountain Café and Bookstore, Saladino's Italian Market, Libby's Bistro, and Moonbeam Café, all in Gorham; Northland Restaurant and Dairy Bar in Berlin; The Balsams in Dixville, Le Rendezvous Bakery in Colebrook; and Murphy's Steakhouse and the Rainbow Grille, both in Pittsburg.

No new Grand Adventures have been added to the 2011 list, but four attractions on Mount Washington have been separated out to stand on their own: Cog Railway; Auto Road; Tuckerman Ravine; and Mount Washington Observatory Snow Tractor Day Trip (for the physically fit).

The total of 13 Grand Adventures also include: Santa's Village and Muddy Paw Sled Dog Sledding, both in Jefferson; Snowmobile Highway Corridor #5 from Jefferson to Pittsburg; Bretton Woods Canopy Tour; White Water Rafting by Northwoods Rafting of Milan; Appalachian Mountain Club High Huts; Northern Forest Canoe Trail; ATV Riding in Berlin, Pittsburg, and Stratford; and Team O'Neil Rally School and Car Control Center in Dalton.
