'World's Largest Miniature Golf Tournament' returns to MWV

Contenders will tee off June 12 at 10 a.m.

June 10, 2010
Fondly remembered for the good times and whacky but challenging holes, the tournament follows the format of a traditional golf tournament but with teams encouraged to wear costumes (including prizes for best costumes) and holes that are anything but traditional — a hockey hole? a potato hole? a marble hole? Event creator Moulton promises even more creative holes (could there be a football hole in the mix?).

The proceeds from the tournament will benefit Kennett High School Key Club this year, and the Kiwanis Club hopes to involve additional charities in future years as the event grows.

If you would like to help sponsor this year's event, contact Myles Crowe at mjc@mjcrowe.com or 383-9614 and/or if you would like to enter a team, contact Charlie Mallar at the1785inn@aol.com or 356-9025.
