"One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest" has been made into a movie, book and finally a screenplay. This classic has hit so many records that it is hard to keep track. Come see your favorite local actors take the stage and bring these inmates to life. The cast of characters are Randle P. McMurphy - Kevin O'Neil (winner of the 2009 "Best Actor Award") Chief Bromden - Dan Tetreault; Nurse Ratched - Sarah Charles; Dr, Spivey - Ken Martin; Aide Williams - Ezra Timberlake; Aide Warren - Jim Kelly; Nurse Flinn - Christina Howe; Dale Harding - Tom O'Reilly; Billy Bibbitt - Eric Jordan; Charles Cheswick - Scott Hayman; Frank Scanlon - Gary Wilkinson; Anthony Martini - Dan Phelps; Ruckly - Chris Kennedy; Aide Turkle - Rob Owen; Sandra - Janette Kondrat; and Candy - Amy Smullen. This stellar cast, under the direction of Dennis O'Neil, will be one you won't quickly forget.

What a great way to start the new 2010 season. There is even a special Opening Night Gala invitation to a Red Carpet event planned on Feb. 11. M&D Managing Director Mark DeLancey explains what that special evening will include.

"Guests will walk the Red Capet into the lobby of M&D Productions and start the evening with custom made wines from Vintner's Winery at 7 p.m. While listening to some gentle piano from Mountain Top Music's own Chad Cummings, take in some beautiful pieces of art from the Mount Washington Valley Art Association's 'Artist of the Month' Cindy Spencer. Then, witness a show like no other — 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest' at 7:30 p.m. — and finally meet the cast and have a great time sampling some fine cuisine by The Eclectic Caterer at 9:30 p.m. It is a true collaboration from many community members."

M&D Productions also has a "Stimulus Night" on Feb. 12. "It is our "Pay What You Can" night," explains DeLancey. "We understand what this economy has done to your entertainment dollar and we hope this will help." M&D also has a "Dinner Package" with Bellini's Italian Restaurant, just three doors down. Dinner and theater package is $45 per person.

Make your reservations now for this season-opening celebration before it's too late. Call 662-7591 for tickets or more information. Ticket prices are $18 for members and $25 for non-members. Reservations can also be made by emailing info@yourtheatre. com.
