MWV Habitat for Humanity selects residents for new home

Rosemary Evans and her two kids will be new homeowners

May 07, 2009
Rosemary D. Evans, with MWV Habitat for Humanity Vice President Bill Beck, has been selected from this year's applicants to receive the next Habitat home. Rosemary and her two children, Kyle, age 12, and Jamie, age 10, currently live in a 30-year-old rented mobile home in Center Conway. She has been employed for the past four years in the office of a local eye doctor.

Rosemary will work with the Habitat volunteers to build her new home. She and her children are excited about the home and anxious to move to the Robert Morrell Drive Habitat neighborhood. Construction is scheduled to begin this month, weather permitting. Work days continue on Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon.

Applications for another Habitat home are available by calling the office at 356-3832 or in writing at MWV Habitat, 2 Common Ct., North Conway 03860.
