TILTON – Three members of the Winnisquam Regional High School field hockey team were honored for their play on the field during the fall season, as the New Hampshire Field Hockey Coaches Association released its list of all state performers last week.

Leading the way for Winnisquam was senior Sadie Bousquet, who was named to the first team all state squad. Bousquet, a forward, was the lone senior on the roster and provided a strong scoring punch up front for second-year coach Cherie Snow.

Joining Bousquet on the first team was sophomore Erin McNamara, who had an outstanding season in the midfield. McNamara and Bousquet helped lead the Bears to a 9-5-1 final record, as Winnisquam reached the postseason before falling to Newport in the preliminary round, 3-0.

Junior Rachel Willcutt was the other Winnisquam player to be named to the all state team, as the tough defender was a second team selection. Willcutt was an anchor for a defense that finished the year with four shutouts.

Maddy Boardman of Stevens High School was the D-III Player of the Year, while former Winnisquam coach Dave Rogacki was the Coach of the Year after guiding Gilford High School to a 12-win season.
