DiFilippe named Chief of Police in Holderness

HOLDERNESS — The Holderness Select Board is pleased to announce the promotion of Lt. Erik DiFilippe to the position of Chief of Police for the Holderness Police Department.

DeFilippe will assume his new responsibilities on Aug. 30, upon the retirement of current Chief Jake Patridge.

DiFilippe began his career in law enforcement in 2003. He began his service to the residents of Holderness in May 2004 as a Patrol Officer, and was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in May 2007. He was promoted to Lieutenant in December 2019.

DiFilippe is a certified Firearms Instructor, Taser Instructor, Traffic Crash Reconstruction Investigator and Field Training Officer. He has served our community with distinction for over sixteen years and we are very pleased that he has agreed to serve as our next Police Chief. We wish him great success!
