Ashland Town-Wide Yard Sale cancelled

July 30, 2020
ASHLAND — The Community Council of Ashland has decided to cancel the 2020 Ashland Town Wide Yard Sale because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Town Wide Yard Sale has been a popular event held in September, usually on the third Saturday, for the past thirteen years. The unanimous vote of the Council was based on the fear that the event could encourage the

spread of the coronavirus in a community that has so far seen very little infection from the disease. It seemed the prudent course to not hold the Town Wide Yard Sale while the virus is still active in New Hampshire and neighboring states. The Community Council hopes that, by the fall of 2021, the health situation will have changed and Ashland

can safely hold the Town Wide Yard Sale again.
