LITTLETON — On June 16 and 17, the Evergreen Gymnastics team held its 11th annual gym show at the Littleton High School. On both nights, Evergreen had a packed house where hundreds of people gathered to watch the hard work and dedication play out by the Evergreen gymnasts in a Heroes vs. Villains themed show.

"Every year we pick a theme and each class picks a different way to represent that theme," explained Evergreen Gymnastics coach Brittany McLachlin. "This year we chose Heroes vs. Villains, so each of our four classes picked a character. All of the students got matching leotards or outfits to go with the theme and we spent many, many weeks working very hard to learn a routine. At the show, each group performs the routine they spent so much time learning and perfecting. The upper level Team gymnasts each chose one of the various characters from all the other classes and ended the show with an "epic battle" of hero versus their villain (Spiderman vs. Green Goblin, Cruella de Vil vs. the Dalmatians, Batman vs. the Joker, etc."

The opening show on the 16th of June consisted of seven different teams from Evergreen, in the Tumble Bears, Pre-Team, Shooting Stars, Comets, All-Stars, Rock Stars, Boys, and Team while Saturday's show hosted the Tumble Bears, Shining Stars, Shooting Stars, Rising Stars, All-Stars, Rock Stars, and Team. Altogether, Evergreen Gymnastics displayed their talent with over 150 kids between the ages of 4-17, between both shows.

"We would like to give a huge thank you to Littleton High School and the custodial staff, Young's Photography, all of the coaches and Evergreen Staff, parents, and most importantly, all of our fantastic students," McLachlin added.
