DOT seeks input on reinstallation of rumble strips

ALTON — The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will hold a Public Informational Meeting on May 29 to continue the dialogue regarding rumble strips, and to discuss how the NHDOT will be addressing the reinstallation of rumble strips following resurfacing of the roadway sections listed below:

Alton: NH 11/NH 28 (Traffic Circle), 1.5 miles: from Barnes Avenue to and including the Traffic Circle, and north to the Hannaford entrance.

Wolfeboro: NH 28, 4.5 miles: from NH 109 northerly to the Wolfeboro/Ossipee Town Line.

Wolfeboro: NH 28, 2.8 miles: from just south of Willow Street northerly to NH 109.

Alton: NH 28, 8.0 miles: from the Hannaford entrance northerly to Alton/Wolfeboro Town Line.

This meeting is being held at the request of, and in conjunction with, the Alton Board of Selectmen. It is scheduled for Wednesday, May 29 at 6 p.m. at the Prospect Mountain High School auditorium, 242 Suncook Valley Rd., in Alton.
