WOLFEBORO — More than 200 people attended the Lakes Region Energy Expo kast Saturday, Nov. 2, at Kingswood Regional High School.

The event, the second in five years, was organized by a subcommittee of Wolfeboro's Energy Committee.

Chairman Susan Fuller, assisted by Nancy Hirschberg, Jim Ladd, Barbara Laverick and Beverly Woods, organized a full day of workshops, tours of energy efficient buildings and a market place for vendors representing the latest in green technology.

The entirely volunteer effort event drew visitors from as far away as Hudson, Manchester and Boston, but the majority came from Wolfeboro and neighboring towns, said Hirschberg.

Several of the workshops may be viewed on Wolfeboro Community Television and DVDs of previous workshops are available for checkout at the Wolfeboro Public Library.
