Bolduc Park to hold 25th Annual Golf Tournament this weekend

Bolduc Park's annual Golf Tournament is turning the quarter century mark with fun and prizes galore for three days.

The Bolduc Park Association will be holding its 25th Annual Golf Tournament on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Golfers of all ages can take part in some fun play for prizes, including the $10,000 hole-in-one prize.

Participants can take part in different age categories for men and women ages 16-59, 60-69, 70-79, and over 80 and for all genders under 15-years-old.

The first 50 to sign up will receive a free t-shirt.

Amateur golfers have the opportunity to win $10,000 in the Hole-in-One Contest if they get a hole-in-one at the 10th tee.

Prizes are also available for getting the ball closest to the pin during the tournament. All age categories are eligible and the holes for this contest will be determined. First prize is worth $50, second prize is $30, and third prize is $20.

There will be a Putting Contest with a free first attempt and each additional attempt costing $1. The top three winners will split a prize pot: 30 percent to first place, 15 percent to second place, and five percent to third place.

After the tournament ends on Sunday participants can take part n a Shoot-Out. for $5 golfers will get two balls to be shot from the first tee, The three closest balls will win from the prize pot: first place winning 30 percent, second place winning 15 percent, and third place winning five percent.

Winners in the tournament will receive homemade trophies.

A Barbecue Feast will be served on Sunday at 4 p.m. and all participants in the tournament are invited to take part.

Signups are still open for the tournament at $25 for participants 16 and older and $20 for participants 15 and younger.

This year's major sponsors are Meredith Village Savings Bank and Bank of New Hampshire.
