Eagle girls dominate the field in Whitefield

WHITEFIELD — The Kennett cross country girls dominated in Whitefield on Saturday, putting runners in the top five spots in a race hosted by White Mountains Regional.

Amy Burton got the overall win with a time of 21:23.

Piper Lopashanski was second with her time of 21:50 and Grace Perley ran to third overall in 21:58.

Ella Ugino finished in fourth place in 22:55 and Kaylee McLellan was fifth overall in a time of 23:24, rounding out the Kennett scoring.

McKayla Dockham finished in seventh place in 24:00, Rylie Walker was eighth in 24:21 and Molly Dellavalla finished in ninth place with a time of 24:42. Stephanie Kendzierski was 12th in 25:10, Catherine Shackford was 13th in 25:50 and Mara Taylor placed 16th in 26:05. Lauren Violette finished in 22nd place in 27:33, Eliah Feil placed 26th in 28:30 and Maya Gove was 33rd in 32:50.

Ben Biche led the Kennett boys, finishing in second place overall in a time of 18:38.

Tristen Smith was fourth overall in a time of 19:09 and Patrick Laughland finished in fifth place with a time of 19:10.

Nolan Proulx ran to 13th place overall with his time of 20:55 to round out the field of Kennett boys in the race.

Kennett is slated to compete at the Manchester Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 25, at 10 a.m.
