Robotics teams wrap up competition in St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, Mo. — After three days of competition at the U.S. FIRST Robotics World Championship, the teams from Kingswood Regional High School and Prospect Mountain High School competed valiantly, but neither were drafted into the quarterfinals, thus ending their run.

Team 319, also known as "Big Bad Bob" lost its final match on Saturday, April 26, by a score of 205-133 and finished with an overall record 5-5. They finished the championship ranked 49th out of 100 teams.

Team 4925 from Kingswood, also known as the "The Resistance," lost its final match on Saturday 240-79 and ended with an overall record of 3-7. They finished ranked 81st out of 100 teams. Team 4925 is a rookie team. This was the first year that Kingswood has competed in the U.S. FIRST Robitics competition.
