Ayotte joins in Memorial Day tributes to the fallen

With Trowsdale back, Bears climb standings

MEREDITH Kevin Dame knew it was going to be a big week for his Winnisquam Regional High School softball team. With four games in five days, the Bears needed to rack up some wins in order to climb up the Division III standings. Despite a loss to Belmont, Winnisquam did just that. Dame's club won three games, capping things off with an 11-0 shutout of Inter-Lakes at Prescott Park on Friday afternoon. As a result, the Bears enter the final week of the regular season with a 7-7 overall record the first time the squad has been at .500 all year....more>
