Belmont's Scott tabbed as All-State

REGION A strong regular season from the local sides saw three of the local girls' soccer teams reach the postseason this fall. While just one of them (Belmont) managed a playoff win, there were outstanding individual performances throughout the 2015 season. The New Hampshire Soccer Coaches Association released its list of All-State teams in all divisions last month, recognizing players with First Team, Second Team and Honorable Mention selections. Belmont's Hennessey tops list of All-State performers

REGION It was indeed a good year for the local boys' soccer teams this fall. Gilford High School won the NHIAA Division III state championship in surprising fashion, marching through the postseason as the seventh seed in the field. Belmont High School earned a top four seed and came within one win of a Final Four berth, while Inter-Lakes High School and Winnisquam Regional High School both earned postseason appearances. In Division IV, Moultonborough Academy reached the state finals for the first time since 2007, falling to four-time champion Derryfield.
