Furniture factory opens in Berlin, could move to Groveton

Engineers too much for Gorham hoop girls

GORHAM — It was a tough game for the Gorham basketball girls on Jan. 26 after they suffered a 45-16 loss to the Woodsville Engineers. The Engineers are a skilled team and did not let up throughout the game, making little room for the Huskies to score. The first quarter was the highest scoring one for the Huskies with eight points. At 3:16 the score was 8-2 with the Engineers ahead. Gorham picked away at the scoreboard, closing the gap to 10-8 at the end of the quarter.
